Hello, I am Landon Dooley

New Mexico is home. I’m running for House in New Mexico’s 40th District as part of our campaign because NM needs a representative who lives here, listens here, and shows up here. As a combat veteran, husband, father, rancher, and local business owner, I believe that true leadership is measured by action, not talk.

 I’m running for House of Representatives — New Mexico’s 40th District (NM-40) as a Republican. 

 Because NM-40 deserves a representative who lives life here, listens here, and shows up here. I’m stepping up to deliver measurable results—not politics-as-usual. 

 I live in Colfax County in the Enchanted Circle area. New Mexico is home, and my family has, and is continuing to build permanent roots here.  We have built our family, our business, and our home here.

 I’m a combat veteran, father, rancher, and local business owner. I’ve spent the last ten years serving this community by building businesses, creating jobs, and supporting local projects and veteran-focused initiatives. 

 

My priorities are:

  • Public safety and secure communities
     
  • Stronger schools and real accountability
     
  • Economic growth, jobs, and fewer barriers for small businesses
     
  • Respect for taxpayers and responsible spending
     
  • Protecting constitutional rights

  1. Tap “Sign Petition” (or “Voters – to Sign a Petition”)
     
  2. Enter: Name, Date of Birth, County
     
  3. Find my name under House Representative — District 40 (NM-40)
     
  4. Submit
     

 Note: The portal only shows petitions you’re eligible to sign based on your voter registration and this election’s rules. If you don’t see my petition listed, you may not be eligible for this contest. If you think that’s an error, email us, and we’ll help troubleshoot. 

 First, make sure you’re looking under Representative — District 40 (NM-40) and that your county is correct. If you still can’t find it, email Landon@FightingforNM.com and we’ll help troubleshoot.  

 Yes. This is a grassroots campaign, and every dollar helps cover real costs like travel across the district, printing, signs, digital outreach, and basic operations.

 I self-funded the start because I’m not owned by anyone. But NM-40 is a big district and running a real campaign takes real resources. If you believe our communities deserve a representative who shows up and delivers, I’m asking you to stand with me so we can compete—and win.
