What I Oppose

This page is here for one reason: clarity. You deserve to know what I will not support before you ever cast a vote. I believe in justice, accountability, and the protection of the innocent—and I believe your representative should be reachable, responsive, and answerable to the people.

Find out what I stand for

What I Stand against

I oppose weak election security.

I oppose systems that make elections harder to verify and easier to question. Every lawful voter deserves confidence that elections are secure, legitimate, and protected.

I oppose omnibus bills and backroom legislating.

I oppose “everything-in-one” bills that hide unrelated policies, bury accountability, and force representatives into false choices. One issue, one bill.

I oppose the revolving door for violent and repeat offenders.

I oppose policies that repeatedly release dangerous offenders back into our communities until someone gets hurt. Public safety must come first.

I oppose disarming lawful citizens while criminals ignore the law.

I oppose broad “sensitive places” restrictions and policies that punish responsible gun owners instead of targeting violent criminals and prohibited possessors.

I oppose treating suppressors like “firearms” under federal classification.

A suppressor is a safety and hearing-protection tool—not a weapon that can fire a round. I oppose outdated policy that regulates suppressors like operational firearms.

I oppose school policies that leave children unprotected.

I oppose security approaches that rely on luck and response time alone. I support layered school safety, including structured, trained programs coordinated with law enforcement.

I oppose tax structures that punish doing business in New Mexico.

I oppose tax policies that choke small businesses and slow growth. New Mexico should reward work, investment, and job creation—not punish it.

I oppose neglect of our state lands and forests.

I oppose policies that restrict access, ignore maintenance, and allow forests to become dangerous fuel loads. Stewardship means management, not neglect.

I oppose secretive or unaccountable weather modification activities.

I oppose any activity that lacks transparency, oversight, and public accountability. If it’s happening, New Mexicans deserve clear answers and clear rules.

I oppose waste, fraud, and bureaucratic failure in public benefits.

I oppose systems that trap people in red tape, fail to correct eligibility errors, and waste taxpayer money. Programs should serve those who truly qualify—efficiently and responsibly.

I oppose ignoring parents and lowering standards in education.

I oppose policies that shut parents out and accept failure as normal. Our children deserve high standards, real accountability, and multiple education pathways.

I oppose abandoning veterans after they served.

I oppose lip service without results. Veterans deserve real support—housing options, services, and solutions that restore stability and purpose.

I oppose crimes against children—especially sexual exploitation and trafficking.

I believe there is no worse evil in the world. These crimes should carry serious, certain consequences, and we must protect children first—always.  Protecting children is non-negotiable.

I oppose catch-and-release for repeat offenders.

It’s unacceptable, and it must end.

I oppose elected representatives not being held to account.

I oppose officials neglecting their duties, their constituents, and their oath.   Public service is a responsibility, not a title.

I oppose corruption and self-enrichment in public office.

I oppose using government for personal gain. Transparency and ethical standards should be enforced.

I oppose unfunded mandates.

I oppose forcing counties and communities to implement programs without the funding to execute them.

I’m not running to manage decline.

I’m running to protect what works, fix what’s broken, and deliver measurable results for NM-40—rooted in justice, accountability, and protecting the innocent.

If it’s broken, fix it. If it can’t be fixed, replace it—no more excuses.
