You deserve to know exactly what I support—and what I oppose—before you ever cast a vote. I’m not running for politics-as-usual. I’m running to protect constitutional rights, restore public safety, strengthen our economy, and demand real accountability from government.
Below you’ll find clear positions, practical priorities, and the outcomes I’ll fight for. If you agree, I’d be honored to earn your support. If you have questions, I will answer them directly.
The Constitution comes first—always.
I believe in limited, accountable government, secure elections, and equal rights under the law. I will defend the freedoms our families depend on—faith, speech, property rights, and the right to protect your home. I believe the government’s job is to protect public safety, build the basics that keep a society strong (infrastructure and education), defend the nation, and then get out of the way so hardworking people can live free, raise kids, and build a life.
I believe our rights are God-given and protected by the Constitution—not granted by politicians. Government should be strong where it must be (public safety, national defense, secure elections, core infrastructure) and restrained everywhere else. In House District 40, I will fight for families, lawful self-defense, parental rights, property rights, and honest stewardship of our land and taxpayer dollars.
Yes. Voting rights are sacred, and election integrity protects every lawful citizen’s vote. I support Voter ID because verifying eligibility strengthens confidence that elections are legitimate, fair, and secure—regardless of party.
Yes. I support one bill, one problem. No more omnibus bills stuffed with unrelated policies and backroom deals. Legislators should have to vote clearly on each major issue.
I will implement a clear response standard for constituent requests (target: within 72 hours) with a tracking system to ensure people are heard and contacted back. This office is accountable to the people—period. If we can’t respond quickly, we’re not doing our job.
I support reforms so voters can see more complete options when engaging with the petition process and aren’t nudged into party-line screens. People should be able to support the candidate they believe is best, not the one a system makes easiest to find.
We must stop the revolving door. Violent offenders and repeat offenders should not be released repeatedly at the expense of public safety. Accountability must be real.
Strong prosecution of violent crime, including fentanyl trafficking and crimes against children, and support victims with stronger services and faster, more certain justice.
Backing law enforcement with tools that work: coordinated policing, real consequences, and victim-first policy.
I support creating a School Security Reserve Program: vetted, trained, authorized volunteers (including qualified parents) who complete intensive training and operate in coordination with local law enforcement and school administration. The purpose is deterrence and rapid response—not politics.
Controlled entry, communication plans, drills, and coordinated response—built for prevention and rapid action. Our children deserve the highest level of protection we can responsibly provide. We should explore lawful partnerships that increase trained, coordinated presence at major events—without turning schools into political battlegrounds.”
Zero tolerance for threats and violence, with clear consequences and rapid intervention.
Shall Not Be Infringed
I support lawful ownership and carry for responsible citizens who are not violent felons. I support training, safety, and personal responsibility—and I oppose policies that punish lawful people while criminals ignore the rules. I will always focus enforcement on violent criminals and prohibited possessors—not on responsible citizens.
I support a case-by-case pathway for certain non-violent offenders after they have completed their sentence and proven rehabilitation through a rigorous process. Violent felons should not have access. Non-violent cases deserve careful review, not blanket lifetime punishment.
Yes. I oppose broad “sensitive places” policies that disarm lawful citizens while criminals ignore the rules. These policies create soft targets and punish responsible people.
This is a Health and Safety issue.
I support modernizing federal law so suppressors are treated as noise reduction and safety equipment, not as “firearms” under federal classification. A suppressor cannot fire a round—its purpose is hearing protection and safety for hunters, shooters, ranges, landowners, and law enforcement. Suppressors reduce noise—they do not make firearms “silent.” I will advocate for federal reform and support state-level policies that encourage hearing protection and responsible use.
Clear, consistent rules that punish criminal misuse while not burdening lawful citizens with outdated regulations.
Encouraging suppressor use for hearing protection and safer shooting environments for hunters, ranges, landowners, wildlife, and law enforcement.
I support eliminating or radically overhauling GRT. It punishes business activity and raises prices for everyone. New Mexico should be a top-tier state to start and grow a business—growth will replace revenue through jobs, investment, and long-term expansion.
Yes. I support a practical growth package that helps producers expand—targeted incentives, infrastructure support, and reduced burdens so more land can be put to productive use and more local food can be produced.
I support programs that expand local food production—especially when tied to measurable outcomes like supplying shelters, clinics, and care facilities with healthy food. Victory gardens, native vegetation restoration, seed banks, and tree-planting initiatives—these should be encouraged and supported by the state.
State lands should be protected, not neglected. I support restoring access for recreation, firewood collection, and maintenance—plus road and forest work that improves public safety and emergency response capability.
Forest management needs a real overhaul: thinning, fuel reduction, access roads, and practical wildfire prevention. Neglect turns forests into tinderboxes and threatens homes, lives, and watersheds.
I support full transparency, strict oversight, and real accountability. If it’s happening, the public deserves to know who authorized it, what is being used, and what independent review says about risks and outcomes. No secrecy. Until there is full transparency, an independent review, and clear public authorization, it should not be allowed in New Mexico.
Water is New Mexico’s defining issue. I will dive in immediately, rely on technical experts, and pursue practical solutions: infrastructure, watershed health, storage, conservation, and fair allocation that reflects New Mexico realities.
Waste and broken systems hurt the people who need help most.
The system should help people who truly qualify—and it should stop wasting money through errors and broken processes. I support auditing, modernization, and accountability so benefits go to those who need them, when they need them.
Transparency in government spending: clear reporting, measurable outcomes, and consequences for failure.
Cutting red tape so seniors, families, and providers can get answers without years of delays.
I stand with all Law Enforcement!
Yes. Always. Our officers deserve the best. I support dedicated funding for specialized training, scenario training, and officer safety resources. I back the blue, and I will fight to support those who protect us. Officer and public safety must come first. Everyone deserves this.
To be the best and have the best, you have to offer the best, through competitive pay, retention incentives, and hazard compensation for officers doing high-risk work.
Mental health resources, peer support, benefits, and healthier schedules so good officers can stay strong and stay on the job.
Yes. Parents who homeschool still pay taxes and still deserve access to support services and resources. Education is one of the most important responsibilities we have—our children deserve excellence.
Parents’ right to know what’s being taught and to have a real voice in curriculum, materials, and programs.
School choice and multiple pathways: public, charter, private, homeschool, and vocational—based on what works for each child.
Veterans kept their promise to this country. We must keep ours to them.
I support turning tax-foreclosed and neglected properties that are on county books into opportunities for veterans—paired with structured community service, property rehabilitation, and a path to ownership. It strengthens neighborhoods while honoring those who served.
Faster, easier access to benefits and services—especially mental health support and employment transition resources.
Preference for veteran hiring and local partnerships that restore stability, dignity, and purpose after service.
Please ask any and all questions you have on my policy stances and anything I have not addressed here. I update this regularly with the questions I receive and my answers. Thank you for sharing the issues that matter most to you, so I can represent the needs of our people.
